Interactive Metronome Therapy

What Is Interactive Metronome Therapy?

Interactive Metronome is an innovative, science-based movement therapy program. It provides a focused way for children to exercise their brain’s motor planning and sequencing processes.

This evidence-based tool measures and improves the synchronization of neural impulses within key brain networks.

Interactive Metronome Classes help improve attention, memory, and comprehension skills. It has been successfully used by educators for the following conditions in children and young adults:

  • ADD
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Auditory Processing Disorders
  • Speech & Language Disorders
  • Dyslexia & Other Reading Disorders
  • Developmental/Learning Disorders
  • Tramatic Brain Injury
  • Pediatric Stroke

Recent studies have shown that the skills taught by music and movement strengthen mental components that are crucial to building a longer attention span and improving learning capacity. Learn more at interactivemetronome.com.

Not just for special needs, athletes and musicians have also used this type of therapeutic music program. Significant improvement in coordination, language processing and attention span have been achieved after completing Interactive Metronome Therapy classes.
