Crossroads Community Center Back to School Bash Set to Ready Area Children for Learning

Join A Child’s Song (ACS) Saturday, August 5th at the Crossroads Community Center Back to School Bash. The public event aims to assist families prepare for the 2023-24 school year by providing free services and activities.  Children ages 4 through 12 years old have the opportunity to receive free dental check-ups, sports physicals, haircuts, and school supplies. A Taste of Theatre Camp Brings Thumbelina to Life with Lively Adaptation

Our ‘A Taste of Theatre’ June summer camp went off without a hitch. Educator, Cassie Draper, created a whimsical and entertaining adaptation of Thumbelina and the cast and crew brought it to life in a delightful and lively performance!

Students ages 7+ worked hard all week discovering the basics of theatre, learning lines, and songs, digging into their characters, and mastering their roles.
