Carrie White hails from a rural town in Missouri. After majoring in English at the University of Central Missouri, she went on to be a high school language arts teacher for five years in Strasburg, Colorado and also served as the Gifted and Talented Coordinator and RTI Coordinator during that time. After the birth of her 2 children, Carrie made the best of stay at home mom life and teaching by instructing painting classes as a part-time job. Painting reawakened my love of art and I decided to spend a year taking college art courses and obtain my visual arts teaching certificate. She returned to full time to teaching for the 2018-19 school year.
